Nineteenth MEDITERRANEAN CLIMATE OUTLOOK FORUM (ON-LINE)
November 4 - November 30, 2022
MedCOF-19 comprises 3 steps. The first one is devoted to verification of the MedCOF-18 summer forecast; the second one to the assessment of current state of climate and, finally, the third one to the building of consensus statements.
In every step, all communications go through the forum tool: http://medcoforum.aemet.es.
STEP-1: Verification of summer 2022 seasonal forecast

Deadlines:
• Mon 4th November: National contributions (from countries not belonging a sub-regional COF) posted on the forum
• Fri 11th November: First draft (large scale) verification posted on the forum
• Fri 11th November–Tue 15th November: Discussion
• Tue 15th November: Second draft verification ready for adoption

STEP-2: Assessment of the current state of climate

• Fri 18th – Mon 21st November: Discussion

• Mon 21st – Wed 23rd November: Discussion
• Wed 23rd November: Final document ready for adoption
